Biography : SmartMathew is a 1st born of three children of Nyadzani Merlin and Mukhotho David. SmartMathew was born and raised in 1995 November 24 in Matangari, Venda Limpopo. He started his first grade in Matangari Primary School then in 2008, he was Passed to Mphalaleni School where he finished his matric, then futhered his education in Northern Technical FET College where he graduated for Diploma in Public Management in 2016.
In the early 2008 SmartMathew was more exposed to House Music, Reggae which he was more inspired by the likes of Dj Cleo, Dj Sbu, Dj Cndo, Khakhathi, Colbert Mukwevho, Shufflers Ragimana, Matshikos and many more local artists. In 2011 he was introduced to a certain music producing software by Makhesha Lucky (From Kheshfam), which SmartMathew took an interest in it leading him to learning more about music making.
He then started Recording Hip Hop Music. He became more active in music leading him into forming his music stable and group called FRESH R FAM which has produced and marketed Artist Such as Pro MrFabulous, Stoner KnockOut, Recky MrP, Blue T, Soldier M.A including the group called TEAM KHA FODIWE through perfomances all over Limpopo.
Most of the songs are my own experiences I have come across in my everyday living and some songs are based on friends and family. At the same time whilst my songs are more focused on story lines, they build and motivates the young, youth and the old matured Adults, says SmartMathew.
"I want my music to speak for those who are in pain and also those in happiness, basically my music focuses on other people's life, either through what has happened to them or how they feeling about a certain aspect of life, also my main aim is to motivate those younger than me through my experience of life".
